When I tried to install it on Edgy, it returned a No matching plugin found. error. I was able to install it successfully by renaming the downloaded file to match the name ibm-java2-sdk-50-linux-ppc.tgz before running the make-jpkg command. Out of Ubuntu’s Wiki:
